A non Jade post

Ok, here is one that is not really for Jade.   

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KELLEY!!!  Jade’s cousin Kelley is 1 today!

Pretty in Pink

You all know how I feel about pink.  If pink ceased to exist, I would not cry.  However.  Jade loves pink.  All shades of pink.  So for her birthday, her delightful Aunt Jenn bought her a pink princess dress, and matching tiara.  And yes, she loves it.  She asks to wear it every day.  EVERY DAY! 

The Third Birthday

Jade is now 3.  For her birthday we got her a little kitchen set.  She LOVES to cook, real or pretend, so she has been enjoying lots of time with her kitchen.

She also got a bunch of kitchen accessories from various people, so she has all the supplies.  She will often run into the bathroom, climb up on the sink, fill up her pots or pitchers with water, take them back to the kitchen and proceed to…well, I look at it as a carpet cleaning really…

We tried to make her birthday a treat, so we also let her have a special breakfast too.

The other funny thing we did was really at Jade’s request.  For a couple weeks before her birthday, she kept asking for "spider cakes" for her birthday.  After asking her a few questions, I realized she meant spiderman!  So that is what she got.  She still loves her spiderman!

So we had a great week visiting with Grandma, Aunt Shelley and cousin Kelley.

Well, we have discovered that Jade loves dresses.  She got the cutest dress from my friends the Choksi’s while they were in Hawaii. 

She also got this cute outfit for xmas, which just now almost fits!

Ok, so I am a little biased, but my girl is just too cute.  These are her spring photos from the daycare.  I think she likes the camera, don’t you?

I must say, 2 is the greatest age so far.  Jade is so much fun.  She talks, and it is great to hear her views on things.  She has a nightgown with butterflies on it.  I told her she looked beautiful in it.  So now she calls the nightgown her "beautiful."

She was also absolutely fantastic at the relay for life.  She had a blast playing with the older kids and she astonished everyone that she stayed up so late.
